Background

The Toucan is a mid-range luxury passenger transport craft. Equipped with the necessary entertainment facilities to keep its passengers comfortable in its journey, from computerised gambling to up to the date visual entertainment, all in the confines of a luxury seat. The ship itself can be armed, but lacks speed; it is known that this ship is the slowest of its class.

Physical Characteristics

The Toucan is surprisingly sleek for Teladi ships, but the ramshackle appearance of its bow belies its Teladi origin.

The Toucan has a turret for self-defense, but it has very limited fighting ability and should not be deliberately allowed into a fight.

A Toucan Hauler is available as one of many Ownerless ships in Terran Conflict, making it an excellent opportunity for making money for an early-game player, as they will have a free ship with which to perform Passenger Transport missions.

The Toucan Prototype cannot be purchased, and must be captured. It may be disguised as a Teladi Weapons Transporter.
